For those who haven’t gotten their licenses yet, Marty has most of them. If your application was in the first two batches then it should be in. Give him a shout to arrange a pickup. Well, that’s the first weekend of racing over and things are looking promising for the season ahead. Tony Hare grabbed 8th in Annaclone in the ‘A’ race whilst Andy McGibbon took 4th 3rd at Nutts Corner in the ‘B’ race (Not bad for 10 years out!). Congrats to both guys and hope the form continues… [...] Just a note on how the guys are getting on in Spain. There was sayings of ‘We will come back flying’ and ‘We’re doing 6 hours a day’ from the four explorers before their trip however there has been no official comment regarding this since! The only reliable information would suggest that the four guys are taking an [...] The minutes are up for the Feb Committee Meeting and are available here. DQI is a 45km cycle, 15km run and 1km kayak race in Mourne/Carlingford mountains. The race date is Sat 15th May 2010. There are diamond and cash prizes and its in aid of the African Schools Trust charity. Its a solo or 2 person team event and theres a free entry option.
