Below is the 2010 Inter Club League Calender, please note there are a few changes this year:
We have a fourth club joining us this year, Island Wheelers. They will be running their own events and are eligable for points and trophies at the end of the year. This should make the racing more exciting with a greater mix of riders, and on behalf of the Apollo members, welcome on board!
As a result of this, we will have to tighten up on the members of other clubs riding. As stated by Cycling Ireland, a maximum of 5 clubs can take part in ‘Club Races’. Any more than this and it is considered to be an ‘Open Event’ and therefore is subject to other rules. Therefore we will have to limit the number of clubs that can attend races to 5. As there is already 4 clubs part of the league we have taken the decision to permit the first club to ’sign on’ attendance at that race. However, there is no limit to the numbers from that club that can sign on (ie 4 members from the same club can race).
Unfortunately if an outside club has signed on, other clubs will be turned away. This is not intended to offened anyone, or their club, but we do have to ensure that our events comply with the rules and regulations as set out by CI. We decided the easiest way is to work on a first-come first-served basis, so please respect this!

Marty has named three members of Apollo to our events, if the date does not suit please come back to me with a more suitable date and a name to subtitute. It is your responsibility to ensure that your allocated event is covered!
All marshals this year will receive 3 points toward the league each time they run an event.
The league will consist of 21 events, 10 TT ,1 HC and 10 RR. The TT and RR will be on alternative weeks and the best 8 results count for the league.
Handicapping will be the same as last year with the TT league also having a scratch league where no handicapping will apply, this scratch league will not be used in the overall league.
The first 3 Island Wheelers TTs will, like the Traynor Memorial, be open events and will be part of their super 6 events, riders will have the option to compete in either or both on the night.
Club clothing must be worn at all events and again riders will be turned away if they do not have their club clothing on.
Handicaps for the TT league will be posted to the web before each event. As a result of this open-ness and riders better understanding of the handicap system Marty will be included in this years league.
