For those who haven’t gotten their licenses yet, Marty has most of them. If your application was in the first two batches then it should be in. Give him a shout to arrange a pickup.

We have decided to manually renew the licenses as the on-line system thru Cycling Ireland isn’t up and running yet. If you have not filled in a form for a license, you must do this and post it to Marty Rodgers. ALL members must do this, even if you had a license last year. If you have already filled in a form since the AGM and give it to Marty, then you’re ok. The form can be downloaded here.

All new members must provide photographic ID as well, existing members do not need to do this. We are intending in doing this in batches, however the quicker you get them to Marty, the better. We’re aiming for the first batch to be sent off on the 18th Jan, so you need to get it to Marty before then. Also, if you can write a cheque for the appropirate license type (Make it out to Cycling Ireland). The fees are as follows:

Non-Competition £27.00
Club Competition £58.00
Restricted Competition £84.00
Full Competition £115.00
Full Competition – Junior £45.00

Marty’s address is:

Marty Rodgers
25 Island Hill Manor
Derrymacash
BT66 6BX

The fees above are outside the club affiliation fee (£10), which are payable separately directly to the club! If you’ve any questions, contact Marty for clarification!

Cycling Ireland are having a few issues with the license renewals, but hope to have all sorted before the end of the year. We have had confirmation that the club has been affiliated and the members will be sorted out shortly. We have a backup plan if need be but will update you before the end of the year if we need to implement it!

For anyone renewing licenses, you only need to pay the £10 club fee at the moment. Once this is done, Marty will process your application renewal, you do not need to fill out a Cycling Ireland membership form if you already have a 2009 license! Once Cycling Ireland process the license, you will be able to pay CI directly yourself either by phone or via the website. This will take a few weeks as CI are currently upgrading their website. Marty will pass over the license number in due course.

For all new members, you will need to fill out a membership form and send it to the club secretary. The membership forms are available from the Joining Apollo page.
