Minutes of Meeting 3rd May 2010
Attendance : Marty Rogers, Tony Hare, Tony McConville, Desi O’Hagan, Fred McSorley
Apologies : Paul McCormick, Joni McGlade
1. Child protection forms to be completed by Marty Rogers, Desi O’Hagan ,Tony Hare & Tony McConville and forwarded to Marian Lamb, Fred Has already sent his form in and he is vetted
2. Confirmation that Desi, Derek & Aaron are to organise the Bartins Bay race tomorrow night with Tony McConville & Fred offering to help, Marty Rogers will bring Camcorder and Campervan to set up at finishing line
3. Committee authorised Marty Rogers to register with Craigavon Sports Advisory and pay the £10 fee
4. Marty has application form for Omagh 3 day which he will make available at tomorrows race, all A4’s and club riders eligible
5. Wicklow 200 is on the 13th June, club members are encouraged to get together and ride it as a club
6. Newry 3 day has 3 Names in the mix for inclusion on the team, Tony Hare, Tony McConville & Junior McAuley, any one else please make their intention know to a committee member or for ever hold your peace
7. Tony Hare Has suggested Wednesday night training runs starting at 6pm from the fountain in Lurgan park, committee think this is a good idea and venue for meeting is ideal as there are public toilets and riders are not on the public road while assembling
8. First aid/ Law of the road course again suggested, fred is more than willing to run the first aid section, other parties are to be approached regarding the legal section and members will be advised in due course
9. Fred Has received a letter inviting 2 members to take part in an events course which will award a certificate on event management on completion, Fred is to phone to investigate viability of sending people to course
10. Ambulance for Billy Stewart organised for the 15th August by Fred
11. Tony still has items of club clothing available if anyone wants to purchase it, full list of items are on the website.
Meeting concluded at 9.15pm with mext meeting organised for 7th June
