Committee Minutes – Jan 2010
Attendance : Marty Rogers, Tony McConville, Paul McCormick, Joni McGlade, Tony Hare, Fred McSorley
Apologies : Desi O’Hagan, Paddy Hoy, Aaron Hayes
i) New Mandate for Bank account completed and given to Tony McConville to hand into Bank, invoices given for trophies.
ii) Cycling Ireland Indemnity letter received for all club events held on Craigavon Borough council grounds received, Marty owed for fee
iii) Cycling Ireland have not got link updated for memberships so we have decided to go ahead and apply by post, details to be posted by Joni on Web page. deadline for first batch to be posted is January 18th
iv) Details of interclub league where discussed, second meeting to be arranged by Marty with Clan Eireann and Orchard to finalise details.
v) Reliability trial to take place on the 24th January, Marty and Aaron have agreed to Marshal but more assitance is required for Cars, Sign on and Dishing out of food, volunteers also required to provide food for event.
vi) All Members of the committee have been asked to complete the child safety form on cycling Ulster Website, you will need to go back 9 pages to get the link.
vii) All committe members agreed to Fred sending in an objection to the councils proposed new super sports centre located on the MTB trials at Craigavon lakes, despite the loss of valuable MTB trials this is also a green field site with obvious wild life, other brown field sites in the area would be of better benefit to all the community.
viii) Tony has been trying to contact Giordanna ref club clothing but they seem to be on an extended holiday. Tony will put details of club clothing available on the website with prices also.
Meeting ended at 9.20pm with next meeting scheduled for Monday 1st February at 8pm at Goodyear
