Apollo Cycling Club Meeting February 1st 2010
Attendance : Marty Rogers ,Paul McCormick, Tony McConville, Tony Hare, Pady Hoy, Fred McSorley, Desi O’Hagan

i) Reliability Trial
After expenses and payments for prizes at club dinner the money lifted for the reliability trial was £190, 53 riders signed on but members thought it was close to 60 riders who started therefore some riders who started did not pay the £5 fee, this is very hard to police on the day and we are at the mercy of riders honesty so a big thank you to all honest cyclists out there who supported our event, thanks also to all club members who supplied support vehicles and all to a man did not accept any payment for fuel costs.
ii) Licences
All licences have been away for 2 weeks now with a few more being sent today, at the minute no cheques have been cashed by cycling Ireland and they are not answering the office phone, Marty Rogers will continue to try to contact them but in the meantime anyone wishing to ride this weekends cyclo cross championships can do so on a 2009 licence.
iii) MTB Race
E mail received from Ciara McManus ref club involvement in Ulster league with suggested dates, Marty Rogers to email back to Ciara asking if we could hold the event on our preferred date of 4th September
iv) League
Interclub league has been agreed and details have been posted on website
v) Child Protection
Committee members are asked to download the access NI form on cycling Ulster Website ( if you go to bottom of website page and click on page 10 you will get the link) Please complete the form and send directly to Marian Lamb, no club signatory is required.
vi) Clothing
New order for club clothing has been placed and is in production at factory, Tony will update us when he knows of a delivery date, he has also priced some casual gear with a hoodie coming out at £25 for a blue hoodie with club logo on the back and stitching on the front
vii) Website
In his absence Joni McGlade was congratulated for his promptness in putting up articles on the Web, well done Joni and keep up the good work
