Just a note on how the guys are getting on in Spain. There was sayings of ‘We will come back flying’ and ‘We’re doing 6 hours a day’ from the four explorers before their trip however there has been no official comment regarding this since! The only reliable information would suggest that the four guys are taking an altogether more relaxed [...] The minutes are up for the Feb Committee Meeting and are available here. DQI is a 45km cycle, 15km run and 1km kayak race in Mourne/Carlingford mountains. The race date is Sat 15th May 2010. There are diamond and cash prizes and its in aid of the African Schools Trust charity. Its a solo or 2 person team event and theres a free entry option. Please note there has been some major changes to the rules & regs for this year (Including Island Wheelers coming on board!). We have decided to manually renew the licenses as the on-line system thru Cycling Ireland isn’t up and running yet. If you have not filled in a form for a license, you must do this and post it to Marty Rodgers. ALL members must do this, even if you had a license last year. If you have already filled in [...] The Wee Series MTB races came to a close on a rather frosty and cold aftermoon @ the Craigavon Lakes. Running over 8 laps of the course, Matthew Adair [Banbridge] took the race victory (And overall) ahead of Fred McSorley [Apollo] & Cathal Hendron [Apollo]. Fred & Cathal had a good tussle the whole length of the race, [...] |
